Apply granted research funds for Industrial PhD from the Research Council of Norway

Apply has been granted research funds of about 1,8 MNOK for Industrial Ph.D. program. Our mechanical engineer Syed Taha will take on the program. He will be supported and followed up by our Business Manager Jawad Raza.

The title for the 3-year PhD research program is “Implementing Best Practices, Knowledge, Competences and Technology for Safe and Efficient Asset Management of Tunnel Industry”. The program is designed to be in close cooperation with an ongoing research program in UiS and The Norwegian Public Roads Administration (Statens vegvesen, SVV and Nye Veier). Dr. Jawad Raza will supervise the project from Apply whereas Professor Ove Njå from UiS and mentors from SVV and Nye Veier will provide necessary support for the research work.

Apply will through this program create an excellent opportunity to establish business connections with possible new clients and industries. We wish Syed Taha the best for the next years. This will be challenging, but the PhD research in the end will be worth the effort.
