The Balder Future Concept Select Study Stage A was performed by APPLY in cooperation with Genesis Oil & Gas, and Global Maritime in June-August 2018. The study maturity is somewhere between DG1 and DG2.

The study has been a FEL1 class 2A study, according to the Point Resources PRMS (2A “Evaluate and Select”), where identification of all viable topside / SPS options for tie-in of new production wells, additional Prince/ King targets and existing Balder wells, considering design life to 2045 has been performed.

• Framing and identification workshop
• Concepts ranking and risk assessment
• Concept engineering
• Concept Select Challenge Workshop
• High level cost and schedule estimate
• Value engineering

Added value: Minimizing schedule, in order to target first oil schedule date of 2021, reducing development scope and CAPEX.
